deterministic-threads
Introduction
This extension allows disabling or disabling the timeslice based context-switching when using threads. When disabled, only explicit thread-yield! or blocking I/O will schedule a different thread.
Note that this switch applies globally, to all running threads.
Usage
(import deterministic-threads)
Programming interface
deterministic-threads
(deterministic-threads [BOOL])Enables or disables timeslice-based thread-scheduling, depending on whether BOOL is true or false. This procedure can be used like a parameter, but its effect is always global, not thread-specific.
